Nowadays it seems to be hard to find a place that is not already teeming with tourists. However, in Cauchiche the visitors can still enjoy this untouched paradise of fruit trees, birds, various flora and fauna and a long beach of 7 km.  The Cauchiche town is situated on the west side of Puna Island, Ecuador and can be reached by boats from Posorja.  Here you can spend a long, lazy day on the beach worshipping the sun and swimming in the refreshing waves.

If you find yourself getting hungry you can join the children as they dive for fresh clams and mussels and if that doesn't take your breath away the fresh seafood caught by local fishermen is sure to send you into a bliss of satisfaction.  Those who have extra energy left can hop on a donkey and take a stroll through the island seeing the coconutfarms and other natural wonders.  Click here for more information.
